Evan Royster was a force all day in the running game, but it wasn't enough to avoid a big loss for the Redskins at the hands of the Eagles, 34-10, at Lincoln Financial Field.
Rex Grossman completed 22 of 45 passes for 256 yards, one touchdown and one pick. Michael Vick ended up going 24 of 39 with 335 yards passing, three touchdowns, one pick and one fumble for the Eagles.
Royster was a bright spot for the Redskins, running for 113 yards on 20 carries in addition to five receptions for 52 yards. Santana Moss snagged three passes for 45 yards.
The Washington defense struggled against the pass, but managed to slow down the run game, giving up 75 yards rushing and 315 passing. They sacked Vick two times.
Eagles tight end Brent Celek had a big game, putting up 86 receiving yards and one touchdown. Wide receiver Jeremy Maclin also performed well with 105 receiving yards.
